Your way forward – don’t be fooled
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) are being implemented more widely around the world. There are existing maturity models, but these largely focus on the range of the systems purchased and implemented rather than how well these systems are implemented, used and designed. The safety of their use is not discussed in such models beyond the need for security.
This short course identifies maturity issues and how to assess and plan your EHR system purchases and implementation strategies to deliver the most cost effective, safe and future focused outcomes for your organisation.
Planning or evaluating your EHR and how to move forward – you need to know where you are compared to others and compared to your organisational goals.
- Understand the levels of EHR maturity and the functionality they deliver
- Understand the relationship of EHR maturity to data quality and terminology maturity
- Understand what an EHR is and how EHRs interact with other information systems
- Evaluate priority pathways for ongoing improvement
Workbook and reference are provided.
